At Run365, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Run365 collects, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices available to you.
Run365 is designed to help runners track, analyse and improve their training while keeping them in control of their personal and activity information.
The information we collect depends on the Run365 features you choose to use.
Activities that you record manually or import from an authorised fitness service may include:
Run365 allows you to connect supported third-party fitness services. Connecting a third-party account is optional and only occurs when you choose to authorise the connection.
Run365 uses the official authorisation process provided by the relevant service. Your third-party account password is entered directly with that provider and is never received or stored by Run365.
Run365 only accesses information covered by the permissions you grant and needed to provide the requested integration features.
Run365 integrates with Strava through the official Strava API and OAuth authorisation process.
When you connect Strava, Run365 receives authorisation tokens that allow it to access the Strava information covered by the permissions you approve. Run365 never receives or stores your Strava password.
Depending on the permissions you grant and the information available for an activity, Run365 may import:

Information obtained through the Strava API is displayed only to the authenticated Run365 user who authorised the Strava connection.
Run365 does not display Strava API data to other Run365 users and does not disclose that data to third parties, except where strictly necessary to operate the requested service or where disclosure is required by law.
You may disconnect Strava at any time through the Connected Services section of your Run365 account. You may also revoke Run365's access through your Strava account.
When your Strava connection is disconnected or revoked, Run365 removes the authorisation tokens associated with the connection and permanently deletes activity data imported from Strava from its active systems.
Disconnecting Strava does not delete activities that you entered manually or other information that did not originate from Strava.
If you reconnect Strava in the future, you may import your available activities again.
Run365 supports Strava webhook notifications used to process relevant activity changes, activity deletions and account deauthorisation events.
When Run365 receives a valid notification that a connected athlete has revoked access, or that imported Strava activity data must no longer be retained, the associated Strava data is removed in accordance with Run365's deletion procedures.

Data obtained through the Strava API is not shared with other Run365 users or used for social feeds, public leaderboards or cross-user comparisons.
Run365 does not use personal information or data obtained through third-party fitness service APIs, including the Strava API, to train, test, develop or improve artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Run365 does not sell, license or provide this information to third parties for artificial intelligence or machine-learning training purposes.

Run365 uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. Run365 will continue to review and improve its safeguards as the platform develops.
Run365 retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services you use, maintain the platform, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and meet applicable legal obligations.
Strava activity data is retained while your authorised Strava connection remains active and while the information is required to provide your Run365 activity history and statistics.
When you disconnect Strava or revoke Run365's access, activity information imported from Strava is permanently deleted from Run365's active systems.
You may request the deletion of your Run365 account by contacting Run365.
When your account is deleted, personal information and activity data associated with your account, including information imported from connected fitness services, will be deleted from Run365's active systems.
Limited information may be retained where reasonably necessary to comply with a legal obligation, prevent fraud, resolve disputes or maintain essential security records. Any retained information will remain protected and will not be used for unrelated purposes.

Run365 is based in South Africa and handles personal information in accordance with applicable South African data-protection requirements, including the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Run365 may need to verify your identity before completing an access, correction or deletion request.
Run365 is not directed at children who are not legally able to consent to the processing of their personal information.
Where parental or guardian involvement is required by applicable law, Run365 should only be used with the involvement and permission of that parent or legal guardian.
Run365 may contain links to external websites or services, including connected fitness providers.
Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Run365 is not responsible for the privacy practices of an external service when you use that service directly.
Run365 may update this Privacy Policy when its services, legal obligations or privacy practices change.
When changes are made, the date displayed at the top of this page will be updated.
Where a change materially affects how personal information is handled, Run365 will take reasonable steps to bring the change to users' attention.
